Hey everyone
Please can someone help me out here,
I converted a site from html to wordpress that was put together by another designer,
It has a basic JavaScript slider at the top and a wordpress jquery menu on the left,
The site is simply a knowledge portal, and its basically for downloading PDF documents,
I honestly can't figure out why the menu and slider aren't displaying correctly in IE8,
The slider is even displaying in ie 6 and 7 but not 8. The menu is readable in ie 6 and 7 although not great, but for some reason the text on the flyouts become transparent in ie8? i just really dont have time to figure out how to correct this,
Does anyone have any ideas of what might be causing this and how to correct it?
I tried replacing the slider with cyclone slider 2 which is normally reliable.. but when i paste the shortcode into content boxes in the backend, it throws out the whole site.. so there some error preventing that slider from working correctly aswell..
the site is http://www.semknowledgeportal.com/
you can see the website by using
username:temp
password:$temp123
Any advice or support would be very greatly appreciated
Thank you

Hello,
Am getting something different in IE. Am using IE7. Screenshot attached here.
To correct this set z-index for class "sub-menu sub" more than 1000 in CSS

Hey Hariprasad
I managed to fix it, i realised that there was one line on the css which was causing the problem with the menu, and iu needed to update the jquery to make the slider work properly :) Thanks for the help anyway
