Right now, I'm only seeing the Facebook "Like" Button at [[LINK href="http://www.newyorkinspiration.com/flatiron-building/"]]http://www.newyorkinspiration.com/flatiron-building/[[/LINK]]

1) Go to [[LINK href="http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/"]]http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/[[/LINK]] and setup the Facebook button(s) the way you want it.

2) Go to [[LINK href="http://www.google.com/webmasters/+1/button/"]]http://www.google.com/webmasters/+1/button/[[/LINK]] and set up Google Plus One the way you want it.

3) Enter the Google and Facebook code where you want them next to each other (single.php, index.php, etc. - but just do one at a time; start with single.php for now.)

No plugins needed, but you can use one if you want.

If you need me to do it for you, let me know.
It seems you've had quite a few questions. I'd be glad to help you do anything else you need.
I can help you insert and optimize your Facebook metadata for your page - called "Open Graph" - og: codes that tell Facebook how to connect to and share each page of your website.

Thanks,
-Cliff

Thanks Cliff....but I no idea where to insert the code in the single.php file.

Clifford P comments:

Wherever you want it to show up. Either at the before or after the_content() or right after the_title() or anywhere. Put it in, save, look, and move it if you want it somewhere else.

If you want it "in-content", you'll need to either use custom shortcodes or a plugin. Example usage would be:
<blockquote>Blah blah blah.
Today is an historic day because I said so.
<like / +1>
Don't you think it's great too?
Blah blah blah.</blockquote>

Ok, thanks.. but I have decided to stick with the facebook button I have right now. I just want the counts to come back.

Can you help me, to see why it´s not visible anymore -

[[LINK href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/facebook-fb-share-wordpress-plugin/"]]http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/facebook-fb-share-wordpress-plugin/[[/LINK]] says
<blockquote>Automatic way
Install the Plugin and choose the type and position of the button from the Plugin’s settings page.</blockquote>
Have you logged into your Dashboard and gone into your Admin settings for this plugin? Is there not a "choose the type ... of the button" option - to choose "show count" or something like that?

Charlotte Raboff comments:

Yes, of course and counts has been on for several weeks and then suddenly it´s not visible.

Do you know what this means -
Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_action() in /home/d8737/newyorkinspiration.com/wp-content/plugins/facebook-fb-share-wordpress-plugin/fbshare.php on line 328
