XML sitemap for Pages, Posts & Custom Post Types WordPress

  • SOLVED

I am looking for a Sitemap plugin that is designed for Pages, Posts, Custom Post Types Images etc.

Most don't support Custom Post Type.

Or how much will one cost to get made?

Well, if you're using this plugin and it doesn't support custom post types:

Take a look at these articles:

Hi Adam,
I was hoping for an all in one solution, but it will do for now.
Something with a bit of potential for you.

Cheers.

Try this plugin: [[LINK href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-seo/"]]http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-seo/[[/LINK]] - Its a full fledged SEO plugin and generates sitemaps having custom post types included as well. It can alone replace lot of plugins on your blog.

@Piet Question is about XML sitemaps not HTML.

I am already using Headspace for my SEO.

And presently using Karailievs sitemap, even if there was some extra code i could put into a functions.php file.

You don't really need a plugin for that, you can easily make that with a Page Template and then you can include whatever you would like, including Custom Post Types.

As an example I would like to show you the sitemap of one of my clients: [[LINK href="http://nzihelmets.co/en/sitemap/"]]http://nzihelmets.co/en/sitemap/[[/LINK]] - everything under technology is a Custom Taxonomy (which would work the similar as a Custom Post Type)

This one is supposed to work for all types of wordpress pages:

[[LINK href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/"]]http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/[[/LINK]]

I'm using it myself and I'm very happy with it, although I do not have custom post types on my site at the moment.
