This is actually a question about WP Questions. This is not a WordPress question. This is a question for the top all-time and top monthly experts on WP Questions. I'm looking for new ideas on what we can do to promote you.
2 ideas we are working on:
1.) experts will be listed on [[LINK href="http://codewi.se/"]]Codewi.se[[/LINK]]
2.) we will do a weekly tweet giving a shout-out to top experts of the week
WP Questions is only as good as the experts who answer questions here, and your success is our success, so we want to do what we can to promote you.
Any other suggestions for us?
In other news:
We will probably raise the requirement to be a [[LINK href="http://www.wpquestions.com/user/winnersThisMonth"]]top monthly expert[[/LINK]] from 2% of the total to 3% of the total. At the moment there are 15 top monthly experts, but with the raised requirement there would only be 11.
Romel Apuya answers:
how about publishing top experts to other online job websites too?
Romel Apuya comments:
i mean other than codewi.se
Lawrence Krubner comments:
Do any have an API that allows this? Please name a specific site.
Romel Apuya comments:
elance? oDesk?
i think they have.
Lawrence Krubner comments:
I will check.
Julio Potier answers:
Hello
I think the first answer is the most widely read. So it could be that the experts have their response be "rebounded",
'know what I mean?
Lawrence Krubner comments:
No, what do you mean?
Lawrence Krubner comments:
No, what do you mean?
Julio Potier comments:
For example, Mr X. ask a question, it's 8:00.
Mr Y. receive an email included this question, and answer to this question. it's 8:02.
Mr Expert. receive the same email but 5 mn later. He answers to this question too.
The HTML template of the question will show :
<blockquote>--- Mr X's question 8:00 ---
--- Mr Expert's answer 8:07 ---
--- Mr Y's answer 8:02 ---</blockquote>
and not as it's today :
<blockquote>--- Mr X's question 8:00 ---
--- Mr Y's answer 8:02 ---
--- Mr Expert's answer 8:07 ---</blockquote>
do you understand ?
Lawrence Krubner comments:
That is an interesting idea. Possibly it is an idea we should implement. But I do not feel it answers the question "What more can we do to promote you experts?" Because this only shifts around which expert we show first. It does not promote all the experts, it can be seen as promoting one expert at the expense of another expert.
Pixel Coder answers:
4 bucks for marketing advice. Hmmm, hire me full time and will help you out. ^^
I joke, I joke, thanks for the great site.
Interviews are always great, very difficult to come by unless it's either
a) College buddies pretending.
b) Someone who is actually talented.
So yeah interviews always good, in any format. Generally raises the profile a bit.

Ofcourse man!
How can we help market WPQuestions also?
Lawrence Krubner comments:
My friend, it's $4 to ask you how I can better market you. Surely the goal deserves consideration?
All kidding aside, I like the interview idea. I will get on that.
