Update jQuery Cookie for Different Plugin (again..) WordPress

I posted a question a day or so ago about updating a cookie for the popover js plugin from the Twitter bootstrap framework. I now need to have the same task completed for the modal plugin from bootstrap.

The goal being that, when there is a form error, the form modal will automatically re-open when the page loads to display the mistakes. You can see the form on my site hookahi.com at the very bottom of the page, in the right corner there is a "Contact Us" link which opens the modal.
