Theme is going wonky and not showing featured image WordPress

The featured image for the blog article: Beware the Treacherous “Pawty” Animal in the slider is not pulling the image from the blog post. The post was created exactly the same way all the others were.
What's happening is this: when the image is being referenced, the link is:
<img src="http://forbetterpethealth.com/wp-content/uploads/antisnews-cache-thumbs/." alt="Beware the Treacherous “Pawty” Animal" width="598" height="324" />
It's supposed to be "...thumbs/imagename.jpg So something is happening when the photo is getting uploaded and WordPress does what it does to the photos -- it adds the original image to the uploads folder in a dated folder, then recreates the image in different sizes in the antisnews-cache-thumbs/ folder. It's worked in the past as previous post images have come out just fine. But something broke in the last week. Can't figure it out.

Well, two things throw up red flags:
That period at the end of the "image" url.
and
The extra quotes around "Pawty" (I'd get rid of those chop chop; may even be the heart of the problem.)
Have you tried uploading the image again?
And simplifying its description?

2.- Try to change “Pawty” to 'Pawty' or delete the quotes

Which is the exact name of the image in thumbs directory.
Maybe it has something strange that cause the problem when the URL is being composed.

I have tracked down the error to be inside
function antisnews_crop_img($timgtoc,$fcatcropw,$fcatcroph,$quality,$zoom_crop,$tipid)
Unfortunately it would require more time to see what is going on.
I suspect it can be something related to file permissions.
Have you updated something between the last time it was working and now?

Thanks for server access, I have found out that the error is related to some PHP configuration.
Probably you will need to check with your hosting service (GoDaddy) about a fix for it.

Hi Christianto,
The issue is that new files are not being created, it is odd in the sense that one can upload a new image.
It is just some PHP functions like <em>touch, fopen, imagejpg </em> that are 'broken'.
I have tried incrementing memory_size, but as one can see the issue happens for a simple <em>fopen</em>, that has no memory implications.
Also I have checked file permissions and all is good.
GoDaddy probably has some PHP configuration that is not good.
Just occurred me, I better post phpinfo() here.

few suggestion..
you can try to test it by change/rotate the image..
for example slide image 1 become slide image 2, slide image 2 become slide image 1..
try to rename the image for example:

delete the old one and re-upload the image again with new name.
Looking at error in Gabriel answer, it might because file corrupt (cache images).
You can search the file and delete it, so it will force the resizing script to create the new one..
here is the image list according to Gabriel, maybe you want to backup it first.
