Syntax Error WordPress

After performing a regular, routine "change of site address" on a wordpress site, I get the following error when refreshing the index of the website:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE in /home/mtiadmin/mentaltoughnessinc.com/index.php on line 17

I performed all the changes just like usual, nothing different ...Can someone help me out?

http://mentaltoughnessinc.com -- where the blog is SUPPOSED to be live (and where you'll see the error)

http://mentaltoughnessinc.com/mtisite -- where wordpress files are located

<?php
/**
* Front to the WordPress application. This file doesn't do anything, but loads
* wp-blog-header.php which does and tells WordPress to load the theme.
*
* @package WordPress
*/

/**
* Tells WordPress to load the WordPress theme and output it.
*
* @var bool
*/
define('WP_USE_THEMES', true);

/** Loads the WordPress Environment and Template */
require( dirname( __FILE__ ) . ‘/mtisite/wp-blog-header.php' );

--- I fixed it ... There was an incorrect ' quotation used for some reason??

THANK YOU ALL

no this is wrong file I think , I need the file which is at root of your site , same place where wp-content / wp-admin etc. exits .
and its code should be

<?php
/**
* Front to the WordPress application. This file doesn't do anything, but loads
* wp-blog-header.php which does and tells WordPress to load the theme.
*
* @package WordPress
*/

/**
* Tells WordPress to load the WordPress theme and output it.
*
* @var bool
*/
define('WP_USE_THEMES', true);

/** Loads the WordPress Environment and Template */
require( dirname( __FILE__ ) . '/wp-blog-header.php' );

Are you sure its the code for

?

Glad that you solved it. This error always happens in such cases as you discovered yourself.

Try replacing the index.php file on the site from the original blog?
