Plugin Settings Won't Save After Migration WordPress
I'm at my wit's end on this one...
We recently migrated our site at http://ncare.com from Bluehost to Rochen Hosting. Everything works fine, except plugin settings won't save. For example, when I go in to change the Email SMTP settings on the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin, my changes disappear when I press "save." It's doing the same thing on all plugins.
I've tried changing the auto_increment settings using these instructions (this worked for me on another site, but not in this case): http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/34200/submit-for-review-issue
We used Backup Buddy to migrate the site, but their support forum hasn't been much help.

One place to start would be to check for php/mysql error in the server logs and also use the WP debug to check for errors:
// Enable WP_DEBUG mode

// Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file

I have tried deactivating all plugins and reactivating them, no change.
I tried to install those plugins, but they wouldn't run :)
I'm not sure how to check for php/msql errors, but I will look into that and get back to you.

You could try open wp-config.php and replace
// Enable WP_DEBUG mode
define('WP_DEBUG', true);
with the code above, and watch the debug.log file when you try save the plugin settings.
The log files are most likely in this directory (or subdirectories) on most Linux distributions
(the paths should be in my.cnf and php.ini)

Oh you already tried with backupbuddy but no luck! Is the old site still browsable? Then you may just copy-paste the settings from old one to new one.

Ok, you mentioned that setting you want to save is not saving. This may be because of permissions. First check the database and file permissions and compare with old host and new host. If you are still not sure about permission then mail "Rochen Hosting" and explain the problem, they will fix the permission issue. Let me know if it helps or not.
If it will not solve your problem then not to worry please as your old site is still browsable. Can you please manually bakup and restore your site? Please ask first to "Rochen Hosting", if they can't fix it then let me know. I'll instruct you how to do manually migrate a site from one host to another.

Just wanted to give you an update. This is what the guys from Rochen said:
"I don't see any indication of problems server-side. I've reviewed the error logs to verify it's not our mod_security installation blocking the request. You'd really want more information from the developer regarding where this data is supposed to be stored to determine what might be going wrong. Thank you."

have you talked with your hosting provider about this issue may be server settings not allowing you to save data.
