I'm listing this at $50, but I know this will cost more. So please let me know the price and I'll vote the $50 to the winner and then pay the other agreed to amount.
I recently asked a question about pushing content out to multiple sites here:
[[LINK href="http://www.wpquestions.com/question/showChronoLoggedIn/id/10903"]]http://www.wpquestions.com/question/showChronoLoggedIn/id/10903[[/LINK]]
Now I need to hire someone to implement this. I'd love to do it as a plugin, but that's not a requirement.
What I need to do:
I have a bunch of sales reps I'm doing a standard product website for. Each product entry is basically an image field, and some text and/or text area fields. Currently the products are custom post types using fields assigned via the Advanced Custom Fields Pro v5 plugin.
The above allows the sales reps to edit the product descriptions to their liking, etc. Works great.
However, many of them don't want to mess with their own product descriptions, and even though I'm providing the sites already populated, the products sometimes change descriptions from the manufacturer, and so I'd love to push those updates, along with new products out to the sites.
If you're interested, and can do this soon, let me know how much this would cost. Thank you!

Kyler,
Interesting project. Those are the kind I like;-) I have an alternate solution for you to think about. Have you considered integrating Woocommerce? I can make you a custom Woocommerce plugin that will allow the product modifications across all sites that you require. The advantage to this is that you have all of the awesomeness of Woocommerce at your disposal as well. Here's a couple examples that explain some of the techniques I would use. They are similar to what I did when importing products to a single site, but we'd be doing it to several instead of one. The system I made before would update products if they already exist, so this would work great with some modifications. Here's the links to my blog posts I made when doing this work: http://jafty.com/blog/how-to-make-a-woocommerce-product-importer/ and http://jafty.com/blog/programatically-create-woocommerce-products-with-variations/ I hope you find this helpful. I can create any type of WordPress plugin you like however as that is my no. one specialty, creating WP plugins and themes. Looking forward to hearing from you! -Ian

Actually, Skype me if you can at ianlin11 and we can discuss because there's a lot to go over to do this correctly. I think we can work it out though. If you don't want Woocommerce, that's okay too, but I recommend it for most clients.....of course, I really need to see what you already have to be certain though. Go ahead and Skype or email me at [email protected] and we can work it out. We can keep going through wpquestions, I just want to be able to talk.... -Ian

Ian,
I had a death in the family and just now reading your posts. Thanks for responding.
I wouldn't want to use WooCommerce -- It's too much code for this. The custom post types I have are perfect, but I just need a way to sync them up from a single master site.

Ian,
The site is http://oily.guru. Click on Oils in the menu and then Essential Oils. Choose any of the jars and you'll see the product info.

Kyler,
Terribly sorry to hear of your loss. Now that I see the website and know that you already have a decent system in place for the products, I can see why you might not want to use Woocommerce. I could do it outside of Woocommerce, that's not a problem, I was just thinking of Woocommerce because I've already built a large portion of the solution you require based upon it. Nonetheless, if you want to use what you already have in place and expand upon that, I'd still be willing to work with you. I understand if you need some time, so no worries, I'll be here when you're ready. You'll generally get a faster response if you use one of the other contact methods mentioned, but I'll always reply to your messages here as well. Let me know when you would like to discuss details and I will be more than happy to help you develop a working system. -Ian

Hello Kyler,
I have done a big mod of a plugin that was able to sync content between different sites (with a list of sites as slaves and a master one).
In this case it were users, but we could change it to do the same kind of sync with content.
What do you think? You can contact us at contacto AT codection DOT com.

Is late at night in Spain but I will be able to answer you soon in the morning tomorrow or if you write mail, we can start talking this night about requirements and details.
Francisco Javier Carazo Gil comments:
And yes, we didnt use XML-RPC in this case, but we would use it surely this time.
Tell me if you prefer a P2P architecture or a master-slaves one.

Hello Kyler ,
Can we have one or two source from where we can pick this product information ?
-Arnav
Kyler Boudreau comments:
Not sure what you mean by this question: Ideally I'd like it to be one source.
Arnav Joy comments:
by this i mean , i want to see one source from where you can pull data
Kyler Boudreau comments:
Oh I see... you just want to see the master site? It's at http://oily.guru.
Arnav Joy comments:
please see your this line
"the products sometimes change descriptions from the manufacturer, and so I'd love to push those updates, along with new products out to the sites."
so that's what I am asking , show me one site from where you would like to push updates to your site (oily.guru )
did you get my point?
Kyler Boudreau comments:
Arnav,
I would maintain the master site - oily.guru.
