Is there any way an RSS feed can update timestamp of a post? WordPress
I'm using multiple instances of Ultimate Photo Widget http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ultimate-photo-widget-by-eth/ in lots of different posts (via a shortcode) to pull on content from Tumblr and Flcikr but post order on homepage depends on date of post creation not on when the content was updated at source.
I could also use any number of other plugins that pull in an RSS feed with image. But again, is there any way to update timestamp and therefore change the order of posts?
Or would it be best to use something like IFTT instead to create a new post each time Tumblr/Flickr content is updated?
