Internal server error when summiting a form WordPress

  • SOLVED

Hi,

I am getting an internal server error (500) whenever i hit summit on my optinmonster newsletter pop up.

When i try to summit the email info i get the following message "There was an error with the AJAX request: Internal Server Error”

while debugging the plugin i get
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)- http://ranchosantafepanama.com/?optin-monster-ajax-route=1&icl_ajx_action=get_browser_language

and
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)-
http://ranchosantafepanama.com/?optin-monster-ajax-route=1

I have deactivated every other plugin and i still get error, so i doubt its another plugin interfering. I have also deleted and restored the plugin and i still get the error.

Tache Madalin answers:

Hello,

I'm personally guessing it's a permission error. Do you have any errors in the apache error log ?

Tache Madalin comments:

Upon further investigation i think you have a problem with your script.

Can you please edit wp-config.php and set WP_DEBUGto true and try again ?

here si the log file but i can’t see anything that would indicate the ajax internal error

Tache Madalin comments:

Where is the log ?

dipka comments:

Ok so it seems it was a plugin called widget logic. Thank for the help

try regenerating the code of your .htaccess file.
