Inconsistent Parallax Spacing – SchwabEditing.com WordPress

Hello!
On this website: http://schwabediting.com/
You can scroll down to the "Portfolio" section.
Underneath the video thumbnails, but above the parallax background image there is a gap.
(I've colored it pink for now so you can see it).
Most often this gap shows up, sometimes it doesn't. I cannot figure out what is triggering it. I can see it in Firefox and Safari (maybe even others, I haven't checked).
I would like to eliminate this gap across all the browsers. Help please!

Hi losting,
Just want to confirm is the visual composer plugin up to date, in your plugins list.
to fix the issue I may tweak the css a bit in order to fix.
Since parallax is performed using javascript, I cant experiment directly through browser.

The plugin "WPBakery Visual Composer" is not up to date because I would need to pay for the newest version. The version that's there now came along included with the theme (Trinity).
I could deactivate it for a bit if that would be of any help to you?

if you have bought the theme, then they might released an update for the theme and it has the plugin inside it.
if you disable the plugin you page looks weird , cause that plugin is the one which outputs parallax.
can you let me know which version you are using. possibly a screenshot of the plugins page is good.
also can you confirm if you have the below plugin in installed and if so what version it is.

I have updated this theme a few times and it did not have a newer version of the WP Composer. I do not have that plugin installed (Video & Parallax Backgrounds For Visual Composer).
