Help me implement a already solved question... WordPress

A while back, I hired an expert here to solve a custom theme implementation issue I was having (http://www.wpquestions.com/question/showChrono/id/3477). While I got all the code from him, I have no idea where and how to set it up so it works properly.

I need help getting the code in the right places & working how it should.
