Google Adsense Ad is not clickable WordPress

I am the developer of www.mapsmarker.com and for the next release of my mapping plugin I plan to integrate support for Google Adsense for maps. The ad is already displayed in the middle on top of the map - see http://test.mapsmarker.com/?p=30 for an example.

Unfortunately I cant open the link in the ad. I tried changing z-index order, remove other elements with firebug - unfortunately with no success.

Can anyone please tell me what I am missing here?
