I have built a site for a charity and we're in the UK. Taking into account the new EU cookie law, how can I know if any of the plugins I have used have cookies in them? Also, can anyone recommend a good cookie plugin if I need to display this? Thanks!

If you're using something to track visitors, you're using cookies. If you're allowing people to sign up as subscribers to follow along, you're using cookies. Honestly, it only takes a few seconds to install a plugin to make sure that you're following the rules, why not do it anyway?

I don't live in the UK, but from:
[[LINK href="http://www.cookielaw.org/the-cookie-law/"]]http://www.cookielaw.org/the-cookie-law/[[/LINK]]
we can read this:
<blockquote>All websites owned in the EU or targeted towards EU citizens, are now expected to comply with the law.</blockquote>
Dbranes comments:
You should be able to check what cookies comes from your site, within your browser. There exists browser addons to assist with that.

[[LINK href="http://www.cookie-checker.com/"]]This[[/LINK]] seems to be handy online cookie checker (I'm not affiliated to that service)

Hi there!
Wp uses cookies as soon as you enter any wp site. So yes, it's good to use a plugin to be cookie-law compliant.
A good one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/cookie-law-info/
And more options here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/cookie-law
