Create gallery in a post WordPress

I have a blog. For some post, we have several pictures that we want to feature. I want to have a 'view slideshow' button similar to this site (http://www.celebritybabyscoop.com/2012/07/14/katie-holmes-suri-big-apple-playdate).

where a user can scroll through the pictures.
It won't be used every time so it should be easily triggered when posting on the site.
many people suggest using plugins. I've tried it but nothing similar to the example I mentioned.
The most important is when the image clicked will link out to a page (.../tittle-post/gallery/) like the example I mentioned.

Forgot to say that you need to add the pictures, but then that is standard for any post with pictures ;-)

Yes use NEXTgen Gallery, then use the shortcode [imagebrowser id=5] where 5 is your gallery id, is very simple!
