Catalyst theme home page blog excerpt issue WordPress
Hi Guys
I have set this sites home page to show latest posts and I have also set them to display as excerpts using Catalyst>Core Options>Content>Post Options

They look fine when i'm logged in but when i log out they revert to showing as Full Content!

Where do I start to troubleshoot this? I have deactivated all plugins and reverted to default theme and back again

Hi,
Are you using wordpress post excerpt to display in this section?
if you are using wordpress excerpt, make sure that wordpress post excerpt field is not empty. if the wordpress post excerpt is empty the wordpress will display content from post content.

Did you have a Cache plugin running on your site ?? sometimes cache plugins (depends of your configuration) shows the cached content to unkonw users and the fresh content to admins or registered users.

Try to delete cached content.

Yes I did, and its caused me no end of problems. I thought i had deleted but just found a folder on the server called 'cache' so I deleted it and it all works fine now.
