Good day to all,
In my spare time I work on a Neuroanatomy website which enables users to find a given structure and its afferent (incoming connection) and efferents (outgoing connection)
Here is what a normal post looks like (see image #1), and this is the code view (see image #2).
As you can see
Afferent : amygdala [ref]Porrino, L.J., Crane, A.M., Goldman-Rakic, P.S. (1981). Direct and indirect pathways from the amygdala to the frontal lobe in rhesus monkeys. The Journal of Comparative Neurology, 198(1): 121-136. DOI: 10.1002/cne.901980111 [/ref]
I would like to know if there is a way to automatically add the following into my existing post on the amygdala, such that
Post #2 : Amygdala
Efferent : gyrus rectus[ref]Porrino, L.J., Crane, A.M., Goldman-Rakic, P.S. (1981). Direct and indirect pathways from the amygdala to the frontal lobe in rhesus monkeys. The Journal of Comparative Neurology, 198(1): 121-136. DOI: 10.1002/cne.901980111 [/ref]
The end result is displayed in image #3

It's not direct. You can make any plugin to do this.
If you only want to focus in references, look at it: http://blogs.plos.org/mfenner/2010/12/28/wordpress-for-reference-management/
