HostGator restored my WP htaccess file to .... WordPress

  • SOLVED

Had an issue with LoginLock plugin in WordPress and could not login. Asked HostGator to correct it and they removed all plugins. Now my dashboard looks like the attachement.

I would like everything back to normal except of course without the LoginLock plug in. I deleted that plug in folder in cpanel.

Luis Abarca answers:

Did you try to login via FTP to see if plugins were moved to another folder ?? do you remember what plugins you were using ?

Vince Curtis comments:

plugins are in the wp-content folder. The other plug-ins are there.

Luis Abarca comments:

Well, your user looks like a suscriptor role, not an admin, its the only administrator user you have ?

Vince Curtis comments:

No, I have another one = yes that worked, thanks.....

Seems your user id has been demoted. Can you PM me your wordpress login and hosting details?

Vince Curtis comments:

No.

Navjot Singh comments:

Then try following the instructions mentioned [[LINK href="http://www.koda.li/?p=77"]]here[[/LINK]]. See if that can restore your account.

Vince Curtis comments:

Thanks Navjot BUT I now get this message when trying to login...

You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

I think you have lost your permission as admin.

Vince Curtis comments:

In the database, user_status = 0 and display_name is admin
