HTML Page layout issues WordPress

  • REFUNDED

i am not a programmer and cannot fix these layout issues:

1. http://buildmysiteforfree.com/homepage-rev/ to get the buttons to be across from each other with proper spacing above and below them.

2. This page is a framed page with some text and a link above it. 2 issues here: a. the frame code keeps disappearing from wordpress if i even load the page in the admin area-is there some wordpress setting that needs to be added to accept frames? and b. the framed section needs to be centered with the header within the white area and the text headlines need to be fixed to display cleanly like the rest of the site.

wordpress is not currently accepting iframes such as youtube embbeding videos
luckly for you, probably you dont need frames

in your style.css file, on line 23, you see this

#wrapper p {
font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
line-height:18px;
}

change line-height value to something like 23px
that will make text clearer

juan manuel incaurgarat comments:

or simply change the opening p tag for this

<p style="text-align: center;">

on each img :)

<strong>1] Question</strong> "get started" and "Questions?" buttons replace code with following code

<p>
<a href="http://buildmysiteforfree.com/hg-sign-up/"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-2529" style="margin: 0px; border: 0px none; float:left;" title="getstarted" src="http://buildmysiteforfree.com/wp-content/uploads/getstarted1.gif" alt="" width="182" height="43"></a><a href="http://buildmysiteforfree.com/questions-hg/"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-3451" style="margin: 0px 0px 0px 20px;float:left; border: 0px none;" title="questions" src="http://buildmysiteforfree.com/wp-content/uploads/questions1.gif" alt="" width="177" height="44"></a></p>

Nilesh shiragave comments:

for the second question. you need to edit either CSS. as the current content area is 600px in width. and iframe which you are displaying is 800px in width. thats why it is going outside the content area.

Roy,

I am looking here:

[[LINK href="http://buildmysiteforfree.com/homepage-rev/"]]http://buildmysiteforfree.com/homepage-rev/[[/LINK]]

Which buttons do you mean? I see 3 buttons at the top of the page:

Home Wordpress Tips Tricks Website Builder Information

These seem to be in the correct location. Could you clarify your question? Perhaps upload a screenshot?

Am I right to say that basically you want to shrink that frame down so that it fits the page?

Roy Weissman comments:

No i don't want to shrink the frame I want it to move to the left a little so that it is centered under the header and below the text.

Roy Weissman comments:

Hello Lawrence, Regarding the hompage-rev page: I'm talking about the Get Started and Questions buttons a little way down the page. I want them to be on the same line-get started left justified and questions right justified. right now one of them is a line below the other.

Roy Weissman comments:

Hi Lawrence, i've attached a jpg for the homepage rev work.

Hi Lawrence, i'm trying to upload a jpg and it keeps getting an error. I just emailed it to you.

Roy just sent me the attached screen shot. Apparently he wasn't able to post them, so I'm posting them.
